Push notifications aren't arriving
1. The phone's app settings
iOS: Settings, Apps, MatPilot, Notifications: Allow Notifications on. Android: Settings, Apps, MatPilot, Notifications. If the app never asked for permission (or was told no once), this is the switch that matters.
2. The in-app preferences
MatPilot has its own per-category switches under notification preferences: bookings, payments, announcements, chat. A category turned off there stays silent no matter what the phone allows. Staff have their own set under staff notification preferences.
3. Focus modes and battery savers
iOS Focus (Do Not Disturb) and Android battery optimisation both silently swallow pushes. Add MatPilot to the allowed list of any Focus you run during the day, and exclude it from aggressive battery optimisation on Android.
A quick test
Ask a staff member to send a short announcement to an audience that includes you. If it lands, the pipes are fine and the earlier setting was the culprit.
