The Guardian card
“My portal is empty” is almost always this card with a typo in it.
Every minor's profile (More tab) carries a Guardian card showing the parent's name and email, with a plain-language note: the guardian sees this member in My family when they sign in with this email.
Editing it
Tap the card to correct the name or email. Changes take effect immediately:
- Fixing a typo restores the parent's portal on their next refresh.
- Changing to a different email moves the child to the new guardian's portal and removes the old one's access — the right behaviour for changed custody or a new primary contact.
Where it's filled from
Front-desk enrolment, kiosk walk-ins, and CSV imports all populate it automatically for under-18s. For older records enrolled before guardians were captured, set it here once and the family portal lights up.
