Minors, waivers and the training gate

The gate is the point: no signed paperwork, no training — but the desk keeps a key.

Every required document at your academy gates booking and check-in for every member, minors included. For a child, the guardian signs — from their phone or at the kiosk — and the gate opens the moment the last document is done.

Waiving a document for one member

Sometimes the right call is “fill the health form next visit”. On the member's Documents view, staff can override a requirement for that member only. An overridden document:

  • stops blocking booking and check-in immediately,
  • disappears from the member's “documents to sign” nagging,
  • stays visible to staff as overridden, by whom, when — it's a recorded decision, not a deletion.

PAR-Q is special

A questionnaire can't be blanket-agreed at the kiosk — it needs real answers. For managed children the guardian answers it in-app; until then it's the one document most worth a desk override for a first session.
