Understanding platform fees
Exactly what MatPilot takes and when, so your Stripe dashboard never surprises you.
The platform fee
MatPilot's pricing has two parts: a flat monthly subscription, and a percentage taken automatically from each member payment processed through the app.
- Pro plan - €79/month, plus a 0.49% fee on each payment
- Free plan - €0/month, plus a 2% fee on each payment
The percentage is deducted automatically before the money reaches your Stripe account, so you never have to invoice or transfer anything yourself. Upgrading to Pro is what brings the per-payment fee down, from 2% to 0.49%.
Example calculation
- Member pays €120/month membership on a Pro account
- MatPilot fee: €0.59 (0.49%)
- Stripe processing fee: roughly €2.00, varies by country and card type
- You receive: roughly €117.41
Fee transparency
Fees appear in your Stripe dashboard as application fees. You can see exactly what MatPilot has earned on each transaction.
What else MatPilot charges
Besides the flat monthly fee and the per-payment percentage, MatPilot doesn't charge:
- Setup fees
- Per-member fees
- Cancellation fees
