Walk-in enrolment via kiosk
How it's enabled
Walk-in enrolment isn't a separate toggle. Any tablet paired as a front-desk kiosk always shows both I'm a member and I'm new here on its home screen, so walk-in sign-up is available the moment the kiosk is set up.
The walk-in flow
- New person taps I'm new here on the kiosk
- Enters their first name, last name, email, and date of birth
- If they're under 18, a parent or guardian name is required too
- Reviews and signs any required waivers (digitally, on screen)
- Optionally checks straight into today's class, or skips that step

What happens in MatPilot
The new person appears in your Members list right away, and their free trial (time-based or class-based, whichever you've configured for that location) starts automatically. There's no plan selection at the kiosk. They get a confirmation screen on the tablet, and MatPilot emails them a link to set their password and finish setting up their account.
Required waivers
Any waivers you've configured as required for new members are shown automatically during walk-in enrolment. The signed waiver is attached to the member's profile.
The trial they get
Each location has its own walk-in trial setting, either a number of free days or a number of free classes, configured from Settings → Kiosk & invites. That's what every walk-in enrols into: there's no membership plan chooser on the kiosk itself.
Staff notification
When someone signs up via the kiosk, you receive a push notification so you can introduce yourself and make them feel welcome.
