Member self check-in via kiosk
How members check in
- Member approaches the kiosk and taps I'm a member
- They type at least two letters of their name into the search bar
- They tap their name from the matching results
- They pick the class they're here for from today's schedule
- A confirmation appears: "You're in! Checked in for BJJ All Levels"

Confirming it's really them
There's no photo ID step. Search results show each member's name alongside their belt and stripes, which is usually enough for staff or the member themselves to catch a wrong tap. If a member is checked in by mistake, staff can remove it from the class roster in the owner app.
No booking required
A member doesn't need to have booked the class ahead of time to check in at the kiosk. Checking in for a class they already booked simply confirms attendance; checking in without a booking still records their attendance on the roster.
Waiver gate
If a member has an unsigned waiver, they're prompted to sign it before the check-in is completed. They read and sign on the kiosk screen, no paper required.
Class-count trials
If a member is on a class-count trial (for example, 5 free classes), each kiosk check-in decrements their remaining count.
After check-in
The check-in appears instantly in your owner app on the class roster, tagged with a "kiosk" method badge. You can see who's checked in in real time from anywhere.
