Putting your timer on a gym TV
The screen everyone watches between rounds can show your timer and live check-ins.
Set it up
- On the TV (or anything with a browser: a Fire Stick, a Chromecast with a browser, an old laptop plugged into HDMI), go to matpilot.io/tv/pair
- In the MatPilot app, open Kiosk & invites from the Cadimia tab and find the TV display card
- Enter the pairing code shown on the TV. The screen flips to your gym's display
What it shows
- A class timer for rounds and rests, visible from the far end of the mat
- The live check-in list for the current class, so members see their name appear as they tap in at the kiosk
The display updates in real time. Check-ins from the kiosk or the front desk appear on the TV within moments, which quietly encourages everyone to actually check in.
Notes
- The TV is read-only: it displays, it doesn't control anything
- Pairing survives reboots; re-pair from the same card if you swap hardware
- Works alongside the kiosk tablet, they're separate devices with separate pairing codes
