Kiosk codes, explained
The pairing code
Each location has a 6-character pairing code, in Settings, Kiosk & invites. It pairs a new tablet, and it opens the settings on a paired one. Treat it as a staff key.
Making a new one
Tap New code whenever you like: a staff member left, the code ended up in a members' group chat, or just good habit. Tablets already paired keep working. From then on only the new code pairs a tablet or opens its settings. To also throw tablets out, use Sign out all tablets. See Signing out kiosk tablets.
The TV code
The TV display has its own code, in Settings, TV display. A TV code never opens a kiosk, and a kiosk code never pairs a TV.
The support code
When MatPilot support is helping with one of your tablets, it can issue a code for that location. It works once and expires after 15 minutes. Support will tell you where to enter it. There is no code that opens every academy's kiosk.
Members need no code
Check-in and walk-in sign-up are open by design. Everything sensitive sits behind the staff code. See Kiosk security and access codes.
