Signing out kiosk tablets
A tablet that walks out of the academy should stop working the moment you notice, wherever it is.
Every tablet at a location
- In the MatPilot app, open Settings, Kiosk & invites and pick the location.
- Tap Sign out all tablets and confirm.
Every tablet paired to that location goes back to the pairing screen the next time it reaches MatPilot. Pair the ones you still have again with the code above.
One tablet in front of you
On the tablet: gear icon, the location's pairing code, Unpair this tablet. It is signed out straight away.
Does a new code sign tablets out?
No. New code changes the code needed to pair a tablet or open its settings from now on, and tablets already paired keep working. When a tablet is lost, use Sign out all tablets, then make a new code as well if the old one might be known.
What a signed-out tablet keeps
Nothing it can use. It cannot search members or check anyone in, and the short list of names it kept for working offline cannot be opened without pairing again.
