When a parent also trains

Dad's a blue belt; his seven-year-old starts Saturday. One login runs both.

A parent's email being "taken" used to block their child's enrolment. Now the two live side by side: the parent has their own membership, each child has their own profile, and one account operates the lot.

The parent who decides to train later

This is the common one. A parent pays for two children for a year, then wants to start.

They do not need a new account and they do not need a second plan. On My family there is a "Want to train too?" card for every academy their children attend. It opens the academy's own signup, already filled in with who they are: no password to invent, no email to prove, no chance of a second account under a slightly different address. They pick a plan if the academy asks for one, sign the waiver in their own name, and they are in.

Putting them on the family's bill

The family already pays for one subscription, so the parent goes onto that one rather than starting another. On Households, change the plan and add an Additional adult unit for them: the household's payment goes up by that amount and stays a single charge on a single card. Full detail in putting a household on a plan.

What the parent sees

Their own member app, unchanged, plus My family with each child. Booking confirmations for a child go to the parent's inbox, addressed to the parent and naming the child.

What the desk sees

Nothing special: the parent is an ordinary member, each child is a member with a Minor badge and a Guardian card. Trials, plans and check-ins behave identically.
