Plan limits and member caps

The free tier's member cap is deliberate; know it before it interrupts a signup.

Gym-wide member limit

Your MatPilot account itself has a member limit tied to your subscription tier. Free-tier gyms are capped at a small number of active students and children (staff accounts don't count against it); Pro gyms are unlimited. If you try to invite or add a member past your limit, you'll see a message telling you your plan allows up to N members and prompting you to upgrade to Pro.

Increasing the gym-wide limit

Upgrading to Pro removes the limit entirely. In special cases MatPilot can also raise your limit manually without a full upgrade, contact MatPilot support if you think you need this.

Per-plan class frequency limits

Individual membership plans can restrict how often a member trains rather than how many members can join. When creating or editing a plan, mark it Unlimited for full access, or set a maximum number of classes per week, for example a "2x per week" plan priced below your unlimited option. This is the access control gyms typically mean by "plan limits," not a cap on how many people can subscribe.

Family plans

A family plan is a related but different feature: one subscription can cover several people (for example a parent and child) up to a maximum number of members you set on that plan. It controls how many people one subscription covers, not how many subscriptions the plan can have.
