Grandparents and non-training guardians
A guardian doesn't need to train, pay, or belong to any academy. Whoever's email is on the child's Guardian card signs in with that email and sees the family.
Usually they already have the account: it was created for them the moment you invited their first child, and the email they got is the way in.
The front door knows them
An account that belongs to no academy lands on the welcome screen, the one that asks for an academy code. When that email holds guardian links, a Your family trains here card sits at the top of it and leads straight into My family: no code to hunt for, no fake membership, no invite to chase.

Full guardian powers
Everything a training parent can do, a non-training guardian can too: view stats and history, book and cancel, sign documents, and ask the AI, across every academy the child trains at.
They can also be the one who pays. A payer who never trains still heads their family on Households, because the money is theirs even when the membership is not.
